Sedation is also available when necessary, ensuring a more comfortable experience during the examination.

Advanced Endoscopy Systems

At Kurita Internal Medicine and Endoscopy Clinic, we use the latest EVIS X1 endoscopy system from Olympus. This cutting-edge technology, also adopted in university and large hospitals, combines specialized scopes with a 4K monitor to detect even very small lesions and early-stage stomach and colon cancers. Changes in the mucosa that might have been overlooked with older equipment can now be captured, allowing for precise and accurate diagnoses.

Kurita Internal Medicine and Endoscopy Clinic is just a 2-minute walk from Shijo-Omiya Station. It is also easily accessible by taxi from JR Kyoto Station or Karasuma Subway Station, taking less than 10 minutes, making it convenient for all patients.

Important Information

To Foreign Patients Without Japanese Health Insurance Cards. Effective December 1, 2025, our clinic will charge a flat initial consultation fee of ¥22,000 (tax included) for all foreign patients without Japanese health insurance cards. We kindly ask for your understanding.
Patients visiting from abroad who do not have a Japanese health insurance card will be charged 20 yen per insurance point
